Whereas my previous post may have been a bit impractical, the following tutorial is genuinely one of the most effective guides I’ve ever come across. ‘Tage Frid Teaches Woodworking’ is the one and only piece of woodworking material you will ever need to read. It takes the novice through absolutely everything required to get moving (and become an expert) in the shop. The writing is often funny, but always clear, the diagrams perfect, and the layout super easy to navigate.
If you are even halfway interested in fabrication basics, or prototyping, this is your bible. Let me know if you’d like to check it out and I’d be happy to lend you a copy.
