I heard in class a challenge to figure out something to do with a NeoPixel Ring, and I think I thought of something pretty cool; A guitar light show. Basically, I want to put six sensors on each of the guitar strings and a neopixel ring under the sound hole of a guitar I own. (I’ve been teaching myself for about a year).
The idea is the sensors will influence how the ring lights up in different ways. If I can find good sensors, I can make it reactive both to individual notes and common western chords.
This will give me an opportunity to work with two of my recent hobbies: guitar and 3D printing. I plan to 3D print an array to fit the sensors either under the strings or on the bridge.
