I chose to make a glowing wing because I’ve always wanted to have a pair of bat wings, it would make me look cool!
I sketched it out first and plan to follow the framework.
I used two sizes of wire for the outer rim frame and the inner support structure.
Wrap the metal part with black floss (I wanted to create a darker look)
Try using little ways to make the wings stand up so they look more three dimensional.
Test the wings to see if they are solid enough.
Test led strip light
Install the led strip and wrap the exposed excess again with black fleece.
Final test, looks good but it’s easy to have an accident (for example, later on my light strip broke off partially causing poor contact and only showing green)
Had a great time this Halloween, thanks to the course.
