Slippers that help people walk in the dark. No need to turn on the lights when walking at night, slippers can help you see the road clearly.

Place colorful disc-shaped lights in Chinese-style windows. It looks like you are looking at the sun outside through the window.

Sometimes, when we’re wearing earphones, we can’t hear others speaking. However, we may not realize that others might think we’re being rude. Ignoring exaggerated earphone decorate can help signal to people that you’re wearing headphones and may not hear them.

This is a feasible project for the time we have for this project, but has been done before in both product and DIY tutorial versions. Here are some related links:

2. Lamp box
This could be a good excuse to investigate some laser cut lantern concepts, like these:
https://www.etsy.com/search?q=laser%20cut%20lantern and you could have the sun light up with different colors inside using neopixels. Monty had an idea with a similar window concept, you should check out her post.
3. Headphone accesory
I like this idea as it relates to working at PoD or another workplace, as it helps overcome an awkward social situation with whimsy and flair. Were you planning to make the form out of metal/wire like in your inspiration pics? You might like the jewelry work of Charlyn Gonda: https://www.instagram.com/chardane/
