Nice sketches Leila! Your concept of a roly-poly desk light seems strong, and you could even include a cheshire cat smile if you like! Instead of just filling your lamp with polyfill stuffing, you might also want to experiment with a pouch of beans or other heavier material inside to give it weight. Since the form is relatively simple, you’ll want to do a lot of experimenting with material and how it feels when you hold/move it.
