Hello interweb, my name is Damon Ahola.

My dad used to own his own popcorn company. This is me in his catalog with an obscenely large button on my member’s only jacket.

I was born & raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota (technically Edina which is a suburb). Brooklyn is my new home via Chicago, where I was for the last 7 yrs. I received a BFA in industrial design & a minor in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. For the past 10 years I’ve worked at numerous consultancies & corporations as a full-time & freelance designer at places such as Radius, Lunar, Teague, Wrigley, Ignite & Choi Design.

Here is a hilarious viral video of some speakers I worked on that were just released.

I dabble in furniture design as well as design competitions in my free time.

I’d like to think that I am a well-rounded industrial designer very knowledgeable in the entire product development process. My website is damonahola.com; you may find me on  Facebook Twitter (which I rarely use), Google+ (which I use less) & the Tumblr page I just created for the PoD class. I’m really looking forward to this amazing opportunity as a part of the inaugural PoD class.
