After learning to sew in Becky's class, the most magical thing happened...
I was able to sew!
Prototype 0
Below you can see images of protoype 0, which embodies a more fluid shape and contains 2 contrasting materials: cotton and satin.

My initial prototype was fun and cute but after brainstorming some different ideas, I have decided to go in another direction.
In comes the brainstorm for Prototype 1…

Breakdown of ideas:
- Tinkerbell’s Shadow in a Canvas Bag
- Kuchi Kopi Nightlight
- Egg with Light-Up Yolk
Option Number 2: Kuchi Kopi Nightlight

Kuchi Kopi is a fictional toy from the TV show Bob’s Burgers. It is a cute huggable nightlight that Louise Belcher, the youngest daughter in the show, sleeps with every night. I brainstormed creating the original Kuchi Kopi or creating the whole Bob’s Burgers family as Kuchi Kopi forms, but this will depend on my time. 😅 I think this product could be targeted at children who may find it cute or even adults who really love the Bob’s Burgers franchise.
Below is a draft diagram of what I believe my circuit will look like as well as a list and photos of some materials I’ll be using for the completion of my project some photos of the material I will be using. I will also be using some felt material if I decide to create the entire family as Kuchi Kopis.

Love it, sounds great Ana! Your circuit needs work though. To add multiple LEDs, they should each have their own resistor and each connect independently to power and ground. Here is the example from week 2 Canvas/homework: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/fwj573eA2ow and video from the same: https://youtu.be/_MSmRCCOEfI
Lovely! I think it would be possible to follow the example image and add a white border and black stitching to the toy (both the outline and the eyes) so that he would look very similar to the animated prototype!
Hi Ana!! I love your idea and sketches. The Kuchi Kopi is such a cute concept, and I can see it being loved in houses around the world. The fabric looks soft as well! You mentioned making it into a multiple plush project, and I think knowing how you are going to stuff them will be important before sewing. I would recommend also looking into how to make the eye detailing, and how to attach the accessories onto the dolls even if they are inside eachother. 🙂 I am so excited to see!!
