The above images show the individual components of the bookends. They are made of 1/4″ and 1/2″ MDF and will be laser cut with a CNC to get the shape. The rectilinear cutouts are made to allow the circuit board space within the bookend. The smaller cutouts in the first few layers are to hide the breadboard and only show the LED display. I am working with the VFL to create these layers, which I will then paint in the above colors in the images.
The images show how the layers of the bookend will be stacked on top of each other to create the pieces S(which I will be picking up from the VFL on Monday). Prototype circuit with NODEMCU, LED Display stacked
