Working in Process

The target users of my small night light are people who are used to getting up at night, and people who are used to putting things away.
The body part of the plush toy is separated from the light bulb by a metal ring and can be freely disassembled and assembled. The software parts can also be tied to various places for easy access.

Further development
The next step is to make the part containing the LED light and sew the metal ring at the joint. If necessary, consider placing a thin wire inside the strip to maintain its shape.
I really like the idea of your soft body plush night light and the fact that it can be detached. Using a fluffy kind of fabric could make it more cozy and nice for people who are getting up at night time frequently. I would recommend attaching another metal spring hook on the top of your object so people could hang it anywhere.
Hi Nymph! Your work evokes qualities of safety, and coziness. I think your idea is good, and useful and very well thought out. I would recommend thinking about how much space your LED component would need with the circuit and you might have to rethink the proportions. I would also suggest thinking about the holding element and how to keep it soft and stable for holding. I think your project is doable, I would maybe start with the light component so you know how big that part has to be. Sometimes circuits take up more space than we realise.
In terms of photographing your project, I would recommend almost like a storyboard of three pictures of someone grabbing it and then using it. I think that would be interesting since your plush toy has a utility aspect to it.
