Isioma Iyamah

Oh haaay

Hi! I’m Isioma, or Isi (pronounced E.C.)

I’m a former molecular neurobiology student interested in exploring design as it relates to psychology, art, culture and the environment. I’m fascinated by everything from forests to construction sites; from science fiction to climate change. I’m inspired by the micro- and macro- networks that dictate the different ways in which we inhabit and create our spaces.

Also! I like making perfumes, and concocting mega spicy dishes. I will (unfortunately) snicker at any fart joke (or sound).

Also! Also!  @isioma__ is my instagram account

Chelsea Stewart

Hello! I am Chelsea Stewart, I am originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I just recently graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma, with a BFA in Graphic Design. I love to make things and experiment with building new design narratives. I spent the summer working with frog in Austin helping with design research, visual design and client relations. I played soccer in Europe for several years after high school, so it goes without saying that I am an avid soccer player, but I am also an active hiker, swimmer and dog lover! Here is my portfolio if you would like to learn more.

Tiny Texan: Eden Lew

eden

Hello I’m Eden!

I was born and raised in Houston, TX and I have a BFA Design degree from the University of Texas at Austin. I’ve dabbled in graphic design, UX/UI, furniture building, architectural drafting, design strategy and exhibition design. I came to grad school to blend everything I know in hopes of becoming a stronger designer and leader. On the side I like playing piano and cello, figure skating and eating.

These two years are going to be fast, challenging, emotional and inspirational. It’ll be tough, but I’m so glad to be sharing this adventure with you all.

Marianna Me-zhi-bov-ska-ya

Hi!

I was born in Moscow, Russia and immigrated to Brooklyn, NY at the age of two. I studied Technical Direction at North Carolina School of the Arts. Since graduating, I travelled around North America, the Caribbean, and the Mediterranean on planes, buses, and a giant cruise ship as a props artisan for the Blue Man Group. After settling back in Brooklyn in 2012, I have worked as a carpenter, welder, fabricator for several commercial set shops in Brooklyn. I am super stoked about all of my classes and professors! So many personal personal epiphanies happening already!

Souvik Paul

Hi everyone,

My name is Souvik Paul [pronounced So-vik; forget that the u is even there], and I’m a New York/Long Island native. This is a picture of me with an adorable Corgi that I do not own:

My hair also looks a lot weirder now. I am a student at the School of Visual Art’s Products of Design program, and have no formal training in design. I graduated from Harvard College in 2011 with a degree in Social Studies [i.e. interdisciplinary social sciences] and had been working in finance as a trader prior to joining SVA.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and eating various meat products, running, biking, bboying, hiking, reading comic books, and drinking beer or whiskey.

Tahnee Pantig

Hello!

Originally from Toronto, Canada, I’ve been living and working in a number of different cities for the past few years. In addition to that I’m also a yoga teacher and dancer, so I’m a mover in more ways than one (get it? Too abstract?) My travels from city to city as well as my experiences in dance and yoga inform a lot of my work. I’m interested in using design as a medium to create art. I’m terribly excited about being in PoD and am looking forward to pushing my personal limitations and seeing the work that will be produced.
