The About 10 Minutes clock is an experiment that explores a different way to tell time. The clock inflates a balloon when you want to take a break or snooze. In about ten minutes the balloon fully inflates and pops.

So after figuring out that there is no such thing as a quiet electrical pump, I started looking for different ways to fill my balloon with air.
The Balloon Clock will be pushing air into a balloon through a tube. A gear system will be used to push the down into the balloon, and the gears will be powered by a stepper motor.
I successfully got the stepper motor to work. At first I was using a stepper motor from Steve’s printer. But the motor was overheating the H bridge.
Currently I am preparing files to cut out the gears and pieces for the tube mechanism.
My project is an alarm clock that uses a popping balloon as an alarm. The clock will use Arduino and probably programming to control the air flow that will pop the balloon. Here is an example of a project using some of the same components I need to use.
The clock will be able to show time as a normal clock, but when the alarm goes off it will being a popping balloon instead of an alarm sound.
My two words I chose at the beginning of this class was camouflage & luggage tags. I am choosing to go with luggage, dropping the tags, and create a glowing bag. That can be used an accessible light when in the dark.
I wanted to make sure my code and cir-cut board was to my liking before sewing my bag. This was probably the hardest part, I used a bread board to prototype my connections and manipulated the blink and sparkle code to make the lights come on when shook.
When the flora board and codes were to my liking I started sewing, and I learned how to make a bag with a toggle.
Hello,
My two words I chose at the beginning of this class was camouflage & luggage tags. I am choosing to go with luggage, dropping the tags, and create a glowing mohair bag.
But in my research I found a glowing bag was already on the market.
I know everything has been done before, but I think i have a better idea with creating a mohair clutch that you can throw into any bag and take it out when going to a dark bar or club and have a nightlife light.
I would like the bag to grow brighter the more you shake it. The sparkle dress code, might be the way to go with this project. What are your thoughts?

This project is about camouflaging medication that people take to suppress their emotional and mental baggage/luggage.
The popularity of abusing pills has put a certain type of stigma on taking pills in public. Even the name and the shape of the pill has become notorious enough that someone might look at a person differently if seen consuming a certain type of pill.
My project is a reaction to this stigma. I created gummy pills that have the feeling or state of mind we want written on them. Turning the pills into candy camouflages the actual pill and the stigma attached to it.
We acquire a lot of baggage traveling through life, and a lot of us use medication to cope with our situations. If you’re in pain you want to feel numb. If you are feeling a lot of stress or anxiety you want to say fuck it. A little trouble down under or you want to impress a date you want to be a stud. Having trouble focusing and felling dull, you want to become a whiz.
I used pieces cut on the laser cutter to create a candy mold then, used a gummy candy recipe found here and poured the contents into the mold. After a few hours in the refrigerator I had gummy pills.
